Joi us for this wonderful documentary feature film
The inspiring story of British farmers standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food – to heal the soil, benefit our health and provide for local communities.
Take a stroll through your local supermarket and you'll likely see Union Jack flags proudly displayed in the fruit & veg aisle, or farm-sounding brands like Tesco’s Redmere Farms. But here’s the uncomfortable truth: much of that "British" produce is either imported or sourced from large industrial farms. And Redmere Farm? It doesn’t even exist. This practice is known as farmwashing, and it’s time for it to stop. Riverford is calling on supermarkets to show integrity, be transparent about their sourcing, and genuinely support Britain’s small family farms – and we are behind them 100%.

Next time you shop, take a closer look. Where was your food really grown? Do claims of high animal welfare stand up with organic or free-range certifications? Is the produce being sold under a fake farm brand? Do the work here to make a direct difference.
Support Real Farmers – Buy Direct
Consider shopping differently. If you can, buy from directly from growers, farmers and producers. We will be able support you with this in the future.

This site is being built by a group of professionals who are passionate about protecting the future of our food – both for our health and to secure our lands food sources for future generations. We aim to produce a simple yet powerful website that can entirely focus on connecting people directly with their local farms, producers, butchers and much more. Over the last four years, we have noticed how fragile the UK and Ireland food produce industry is becoming. We feel it is our duty to ensure quality food producers that are British owned and run – remain and are sustained. We would like in the future, for our children at very least, to have the choice and to have access to real food. Let’s make the industry stronger.
Supporting our countries owned and run food producers is not only better for our health, but also for our country’s economy and the future of our food sustainability. Should we be importing cheap and lower quality produce when we have an abundance of land guardians here producing wonderful food?
Every time you purchase from British or Irish owned farm or micro-artisan business that offers healthy food choices, you’re sending a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to those hardworking souls who pour their blood, sweat, and tears into providing us with these options. By choosing to support these producers, you’re not just making a purchase; knowing that your produce is a little more like nature intended is wonderful. Moreover, you’re ensuring that there will be healthy options available for your children’s future – which is even more heartwarming.
